Dutch Warmblood Optimistic lady

Optimistic Lady is a KWPN registered mare bred by A and P Jaspers in Holland and born on the 19th April 2002.

Her pedigree reads like a who's who of the show jumping world being sired by the jumping stallion Optimist out of Evelina.

Other horses in her impressive pedigree include Kojak , Jasper, Pit I , Lucky Boy , Courville , Pilot and Findra to mention just a few.

Optimistic Lady ( or Porcha as she is affectionately known ) was offered to us in March 2006 direct from Holland and came to us in a somewhat poor condition. After 3 months of rich spring grass and food supplements , coupled with regular exercise to muscle her up , she started her show jumping  early in August 2006.

Her first outings  together with the horse's maturity and early signs of her true potential have exceeded all of our expectations and we believe that we have unearthed a truly talented horse for the future !

Optimistic Lady was therefore put into foal and gave birth to her first youngster on March 17th 2009.   ( See Foals Index )
