November 2nd : Markfield EC : BSJA Discovery :  A frustrating day with Sporty collecting 4 faults in the first round to put her down in 12th from 17.

October 12th. Markfield EC : BSJA Discovery : Another heartening performance with Sporty just clipping a fence in the jump off which gave her a 11th from 30.

October 11th. Solihull EC :  BSJA Discovery :  Today's performance restored our faith in this horse. She collected 4 faults whist going for a winning time in the jump off . She therefore just missed out on the money gaining an 8th place from 20.

October 7th. Markfield EC : 85cm Unaffiliated and BSJA Discovery : The same format as October  4th. with Sporty  again going double clear in the first competition for a 4th from 28 and yet again 8 faults in the first round of the Discovery competition.

October 4th. Markfield EC : 85cm Unaffiliated and BSJA Discovery : The horse is in need of further groundwork training to make her jump more consistent. We are therefore appraising the horse firstly over a lower height where today she effortlessly jumped double clear to place her 4th from 12 and then over the same , but raised and slightly amended Discovery course where she collected 8 faults in the first round.

September 17th & 18th. Arena UK : BSJA 95cm Grand Prix Qualifier. :   A staggering total of 360 horses contested this qualifier over two days , but unfortunately the best Sporty could do was a clear and 8 faults in the jump off in the Friday qualifying competition.

September 5th : Eland Lodge Equestrian : BSJA Discovery : Sporty put in her best jumping performance to date. Going for a fast time in the jump off , she just clipped an upright and just missed out on the honours coming in at 7th from 21 starters.

August 27th : Moorgreen Agricultural Show : BSJA Discovery : On ground that was barely fit to hold a competition , we should have gone with our first instincts and not jump the horse. We were not surprised when Sporty returned 8 faults in the first round.

August 22nd : Eland Lodge : BSJA Discovery : Sporty's jumping technique is improving with each competition. Her clear and 4 saw her into a respectable 6th from 14 starters.

August 20th : Hargate Arena : 90cm Hargate Derby Final : 63 horses contested a 35 fence Derby course which saw just 15 horses into a 6 fence jump off. The major honours were taken by horses that had either previously evented or hunted. The pure show jumpers had  varying degrees of success jumping 'out into the country' and over a testing hedge. We were therefore satisfied with Sporty's just one mistake over the course.

July 28th : Weston Lawns : BSJA Discovery : A somewhat improved performance but still a disappointing 4 faults in the first round.

July 27th : Weston Lawns : BSJA Discovery : A disappointing 8 faults in the 1st round.

July 22nd : Beech House Stud : BSJA Discovery : A far better performance saw Sporty jumping nicely into the final round where she unfortunately collected 8 faults to see her into 12th position from 24.

July 16th : Ashby AS : BSJA Discovery : The occasion of a big show with its many distractions ( including being literally right next to the main entrance road ) was just too much for Sporty today , resulting in 16 faults.

July 13th : Western Lawns Equitation : BSJA Discovery : An unlucky knockdown in the first phase relegated Sporty to 22nd from 26 starters.

June 26th 2006 :  Sporty has just completed her 4th BSJA Novice double clear in just 5 outings  ( including a win , a second and a sixth place . ) She will be moved up to Discovery on her next outing.
