AES Filly : Greenacres High Society

Filly Foal  Greenacres High Society

Greenacres High Society is sired by the prolific show jumping stallion Handel II ( formerly ridden by Michael Whitaker ) .

Her dam is by Verita Z , daughter of the equally prolific stallion Darco.

Georgie , as she is affectionately known, was born at Greenacres at 7.30am on the 11th June 2008 and arrived exactly on the due delivery date.

The birth itself was relatively uncomplicated considering that Verita Z at 4yrs old was a maiden mare.

The only slight difficulty came as the mare chose to lay down very close to the stable wall. This made the area of delivery very tight with the foal being lodged up against the wall.

As a result , it took an amount of assistance to help the mare by pulling the foal out after the half way stage in the delivery.

High Society has recently been registered with the Anglo European Studbook.
