Colt Foal 'Greenacres Business As Usual'

'Greenacres Business As Usual' is by the AES Graded Stallion 'Its the Business ' out of our Part Trakehner Mare '   Isengard '.

The birth was uncomplicated and relatively 'clean'.

Isengard went into advanced labour at around 8.30 pm on Wednesday 9th May 2007 and went down onto the floor for delivery at 8.50 pm.

After ten minutes of pushing , although it wasn't strictly necessary , it was decided to give her a helping hand.

The colt foal was successfully delivered at 9pm

The foal had difficulty rising to his feet and so at 10.15pm several attempts were made to lift him but these attempts failed. He did not successfully lift unsupported until 11.45pm but successfully suckled at Midnight .
