Filly Foal Bella du Lys

'Greenacres ' Bella du Lys '  was born at 10.20pm on the 10th April 2010.

The birth was trouble free.

Bella's Sire is Champion du Lys a 167 cm. Selle Francais warmblood , born in 1990.

He has impressively demonstrated his abilities as an international show jumping horse under the saddle of Ludger Beerbaum ,  winning 60  1.50m classes including the Hamburg Derby. He has also competed in a number of Grand Prix and Nations Cups.

Despite only having been used sparingly for breeding , he has produced top horses such as the approved stallion Caballero. This son  was the most expensive horse at the PSI Auction in 2006 , won the World Championship for Show Jumping horses in Lanaken and is already winning at 1.50m level.

There are now 19 Champion du Lys offspring competing successfully at 1.50m level.

Champion du Lys's progeny had by 2008 won over EUR 133,000 on the show jumping circuit .

This stallion has inherited excellent French sport genes from his Grand sire Mexico ( full brother to the famous stallion Furioso II )

Bella's mother is the show jumping horse Greenacres Hekabo - Z  is a 16.3 hh  six year old  Holstien x Dutch Warmblood Mare ( See Breed Pedigree ) who arrived at Greenacres Stud in July 2005  from Germany , having been sired by  Dutch Warmblood  stallion  High Valley - Z   standing at the Zangersheide  Stud  and out of  the mare Feja I . She was born June 1999 and bred by Karl - Heinz Krings .

The other horses in her truly impressive pedigree include prolific Show Jumping horses  Ahorn  ,   Nimmerdor  and  Ladykiller  on her sire's side and equally prolific show jumping horses Lavall I and Landgraf I  on her dam's side.
